Hi all
ecolette has been invited to do toilets for a nomadic festival in the noth of the sahara at MíHamid El Ghizlane there will be aproximatly 15 000 visiteurs, (there link: http://www.nomadsfestival.com/)
My big question is: does anyone have any experience of composting in a desert situation...?
(it has not rained for 4 years) we will be using less litter cover than normal and we shall be using all the washing water to have a compost with a good quantity of humidity in it
but how to keep that humidity over the composting period when we shall not be present until the next yaer..?
also... squatting toiletes (turkish style) has anyone done this on large oil drums cut in half..?
for people with there experiences to share contact me please, here; mark.howie(at)wanadoo.fr
we shall be leaving in only 22 days...

thank you in advance

mark
