Thanks so much. Yes I do have surplus from another compost pile. Your humor was timely! Thanks for the laugh, and direction. I figured they would find their place in the pile for appropriate temperature...this is good! Appreciated!

Yes, but you do not need to add them.

"Build it and they will come!"

However, if you do have surplus worms from a vermicompost bin, there is no harm in adding them to the pile. They will do their work only in the regions of the pile that is of appropriate temperature for them.

Can anyone tell me if you can use red wigglers in with your humanure compost piles to help with breaking it down.
