Is there anyone out there who is using the humanure method in the Methow valley area of Washington state? (or, more generally, eastern Washington or the Cascades)

I would like to hear what materials you are using as covering materials in the bucket and compost pile.

My wife and I are building a small, mostly off-grid vacation cabin in the woods. There don't seem to be any materials, like dry leaves, on the land that we can use, so we'll need to buy or scavenge. Any suggestions?
